(Those cutting the fish are among the few men allowed into the market. They are unemployed youths. She has been selling fish for 35 years. Her business is very good, with the profits she has given education to all her 4 kids. In a month she earns 60,000 rupees, sometimes it’s more. It has been managed by women since generations, we wouldn’t feel comfortable with men. If men are around, we are not free to talk, among women they share stories.
