Louv hasn't had food since the previous night, when she doesn't have enough energy to work she can't earn enough money to buy food, most of the days her meals consist of a handful of rice at night. “I don't want money, I want my old land back. It is the land of my ancestors”. Louv Veoun, 39 and mother of 8, was living in a small cottage on her rice field in Kork until March 2010, when she was dispossesed of her two hectares of land and compensated with 25 USD. She was forced to abandon her house and settle in a piece of land belonging to some of her relatives, close to the plantation. Today, she lives in utter poverty together with her family.
