Cambodia - Kampong Speu Province - Toun Manh, 73, sitting on the staircase of her house in Thnal village. Toun was expropriated of 1,5 hectares of land, and was compensated with just half a hectare. Given her old age, though, she cannot clear the new land for planting rice and is therefore forced to buy it on the market. The mother of 5 kids, Toun survives thanks to the support of her 15-year-old orphaned grandson. “But if he gets sick one days, how will I manage?” she asks worried.
