India – West Bengal: Pluckers at Mogulkata Tea Estate, in the Dooars region. Pluckers are equipped with a net bag to store the collected leaves and an umbrella to shelter from sun and rain. Today's workers are the descendants of the tribal people who were brought into the tea estates in the 19th century to serve as bonded labourers.
