Jerusalem - The Is'af al-Nashashibi Library is one of the most important private libraries in East Jerusalem. Named after a Palestinian literary figure, the library hosts around 500 manuscripts (the oldest ones dating back to the 12th century) on subjects such as Islamic studies, Arabic literature and Turkish writings. All the library's manuscripts were digitized in partnership with the HMML during a period of two years.
