India - Jharkhand - Domchanch - Villagers working in a mica factory. Before being sent to Kolkata, mica powder is separated from the rest as well and different qualities are classified. Every single bit of mica is used for something, nothing gets wasted. Used in a myriad such as electronics, car paints and radars, mica is added to many cosmetics because of the glittering effect it gives to beauty products. Mica boom has been also fuelled by the recent switch to more natural cosmetics, after the synthetic ones were linked to several illnesses.
