During his first state visit to Lebanon in October 2010 Iranian President Dr. Ahmadinejad went to Bint Jbeil, a village at Israel-Lebanon border. Its the place where fierce battles between Hizbullah and the Jewish Army were fought. In addition to praising the courage of the Lebanese nation against the powerful enemy supported by the US, France, Germany and Britain Dr. ahmadinejad also performed the inauguration ceremony of the Iran Park at Maroun al-Ras border area where streets are named after the Iranian cities...The Iranian government has funded and designed a lush park near the site of the battle, on the mountainside directly overlooking Israel. In the parking, visitors can stand at an observation point beside an Iranian flag fluttering in the wind, and look directly down at the Israeli hamlets of Avivim and Yiron.
